The Gira Universal Dimming Actuator (1058 00) is a KNX actuator intended to control the brightness of compatible dimmable loads. It receives commands over KNX TP and is configured in ETS to integrate dimming behaviour into the building automation system. A universal dimming device can be useful for lighting scenes and central or local brightness control, but compatibility depends on the connected lamp or driver and the actuator’s specified operating mode. Do not assume every LED, transformer or lamp type is supported.
