KNX Weather Station Plus (WS00A01KNX) is an Eelectron product for KNX-based building automation. The WS00A01KNX is Eelectron’s outdoor KNX weather station for measuring and evaluating environmental conditions around a building. Its integrated sensors measure wind speed and direction, precipitation, brightness, global radiation, twilight, temperature, relative humidity and air pressure. The station transmits measurement values and limit conditions to the KNX system, where they can be used for automated shading, weather-dependent control, HVAC strategies and building-protection functions. An integrated GPS/GLONASS receiver supports automatic positioning, while onboard processing calculates additional values such as absolute humidity, chill temperature and comfort-related parameters.

The device includes an integrated KNX bus coupling unit and supports ETS commissioning, measurement acquisition, limit-value monitoring and software logic modules for linking events. It is designed for outdoor installation, preferably on roof or façade locations selected to minimise turbulence and local measurement interference. The enclosure measures approximately 130 mm in diameter by 68 mm high and is rated IP44 in its operating position. KNX current consumption is specified at a maximum of 5 mA, but the weather station also requires a separate 24 V AC/DC auxiliary supply. Correct orientation and mounting are important for reliable wind-direction measurement; use the supplied guide blade where required by the mounting arrangement.
